I plan to write about my journey experimenting with new features of openness, innovation and technology. I want to connect with persons who will be able to encourage, support and advise me as I learn to build my own learning network and increase my social capital. I am hoping to gain enough confidence and contacts/network to be able to lead others into experiencing and leveraging the benefits of technology.

I am pursuing a Master's Degree in Online Distance Education from the Open University in UK. I am presently studying H818: The Networked Practitioner. The theme of my project is innovation. My project focuses on replacing paper portfolio with electronic portfolio as a form of course assessment for internship in my country. I will use media demonstration format to present my project at the institutional level. It is my hope to promote this as a best practice that makes use of social networks and open sources.
